A several word creations spontaniously come up in my mind for those one-piece clothes:

Overall, Jumper, Jumpsuit, Singlets

without any claim to completeness.

Their origin is less pretentious, they were actually designed to give an all-over protection. Commonly called protective and workwear in which the openings are reduced to the most necessary. This only by the way.

But however we want to name them, they have entered the fashion era. Actually they are pretty hip and you can see them in all shapes, colors and different materials.
I’ve also discovered my love for them and have a few of them in my wardrobe 😊. Here they are:

The black strapless Jumper is my favourite for the evening. Feel feel to combine any bag and jacket. Since it’s for evening-style I usually combine the fine varieties. (Singlet: Esprit)

The pattern mix on the jersey Jumpsuit I wear every time with great pleasure. My husband less… to much eyes on me… And yes, indeed this One-piece Suit offers no options to make pounds disappear. But don’t worry, there must be also such parts, and last but not least, I even can’t wear everything, even if many people think so. In addition I like to take a jeans jacket and a one-color bag. The Overall of René Lezard has been in my closet for years and is actually made up of 2 parts. On top you can attach a small jacket (attach here meets the point, because it is actually fixed with small hooks), which then covers the shoulders. A tricky suit that –  though already getting up in years – has still its charm. Here I also feel confirmed that designer pieces are mostly long lasting. You can wear it with or without a blouse, depending on weather and temperature. (Jumpsuit: René Lezard, Blouse: Mango, Bag: Keine Schwester, Shoes: Gucci)

This red hot piece comes from J|D|O. It has a golden ornament at the front and is otherwise simply an eye-catcher with ist hot red color. No look will miss this outfit and is super comfortable at the same time. As an accessory, I like very much a big scarf or pashmina beside a jacket. In the color combination there is almost no restriction. (One-piece-Suit: J|D|O, Shoes: Michael Kors)

The day starts perfect in the luxury-cashmere-mesh of Simone Cuntz. I’m a true fan of her most cozy clothes. Everything is so easy to wear and flatters the skin. This Cashmere-Jumper is a multitalent adopts indoor and outdoor equally well. (Jumper: Simone Cuntz)

Note: Due to their sometimes tricky „openings“ I prefere staying away from the restrooms 😉 …

The additional shoe: I prefere a kind of high heel – less is more in this case. In my view it gives the finest touch to the complete look.
