Sylt is nice and special. The birthplace of the famous Restaurants Gosh and Sansibar. When you come by car or motorbike you take the car train to come over. From the 1st. floor of the train you can enjoy a lovely view over the inviting landscape, that is about 50 km from the very North to the very South. Located in Westerland you are quite in the middle and nothing is really far away, neither by car or by bike. Lots of interesting and nice places are awaiting you. By the way: dogs everywhere with special doggy beaches. Fine for everybody – also for the dogs… The same goes with “Porsche” – not with special beaches, but on the streets, street parking and car parks. Sitting in the Sansibar Restaurant you feel like sitting in a snow bar with sand instead of snow. A real holiday feeling. Finest dining you find at Söl’ring Hof in Rantum. **Star-Kitchen, professional, cosy with a charming atmosphere and the view from the terrasse over the North See is at least as wonderful as the dining itself. The place to be is also the Pony Bar (Pony Club, Kampen). Here you can enjoy nightlife and also meet celebraties while staying on the island. We very much enjoyed the Gosh North See Shrimp bread rolls with a glass of ‘Wellenbrecher’ (white wine) and couldn’t get enough. For further suggestions don’t hesitate to contact me.
