2017 we celebrate to anniversairies of the Lions Club: 100 years wordwilde and 20 years Lions Club Frankfurt-Alte Oper.
‘We serve’ is the big headline under which we support worldwide thouthands of projects.
The Women Lions Club Frankfurt-Alte Oper supports women and their children in distress in the area of Frankfurt.
Since the club was founded in 1997 we could already support a number of projects with the total amount of mor than 650.000 EUR.
This year, celebrating our 20th anniversary, we had a special Gala, with famous guests, as for example Staatsminister Axel Wintermeyer and Oberbürgermeister der Stadt Frankfurt am Main, Peter Feldmann. Moderator, who leads perfectly through the wonderful evening was Holger Weinert, also known from TV. We proudly announce that we
can sponsor our this year project >Therapeuten auf vier Beinen – Lebensqualität für beeinträchtigte Kinder< with the amount of 35.000 EUR. The ceremonial presentation of cheques will be in January 2018.
