Sidney, i.e. was a breakpoint on our honeymoon trip; in Oman, a schoolboy spontaneously invited us to his home; in the Blue Train (due to a name identity) we met the “Fritz’s family” from Bedfordview, an African friendship that lasts until today. Mexico became our second home since we lived and worked in this beautiful country in 1995/1996, etc.
And finally the ride with an hot air balloon. Just as we lift off, the pilot introduces himself with the words: “my name is JESUS”.
Where would I like to go again? Perhaps to Uzbekistan, the interface between Orient and Occident, or to the frozen Lake Baikal/ Russia in April, when the ice crackles and announces spring.
