It has always been something special to drive a Mercedes – a car with a star – as a symbol of exclusive automobiles and cutting-edge technology >Made in Germany<.

And I still remember very well the time, when the star was quite at the front of the bonnet. Proud owners always feared that someone would steal the star.

Sternstunden am Kaiserlei

The era of Mercedes began in 1901, when the first “Mercedes” was built for the race week in Nice by Wilhelm Maybach. After all, this trailblazing car had already 35 hp (26 kW) and drove 100 km/h fast. Since then, the triumphal march of the automobile has continued in all areas of life and racing. Since more than a hundred years of mobility, a lot has changed and I am convinced that Gottlieb Daimler would be damned proud to see how the brand has developed; what fascination still emanates from Mercedes and how various the model selection is.

Sternstunden am Kaiserlei

Since September 2016 the big star of Mercedes rises at the Kaiserlei roundabout between Frankfurt and Offenbach. A new great building, not only with new cars, young stars (used cars), Service, parts- and accessories sales as well as its own vehicle rental (MB Rent) fascinated, but also architecturally sets new standards. Imposingly built, the new location of Mercedes-Benz with about 17.000 qm exhibition space invites you to get new impressions about mobility. From the highway I was thrilled to see the new building grow and when I was allowed to marvel at the branch from the inside, I immediately had the idea to do a photo shoot there. Completely uncomplicated I immediately got a promise and now you can here see a successful mix of fashion and state-of-the-art mobility.
