The pleated skirt has blossomed, because I still know it from my youth and my grandma had these practical skirts in the closet.  Since this spring / summer season, The plissé skirt has made its comeback and we not only say “yes” to the fold again, we even wear it in midi length! What’s special: it’s one of the most uncomplicated garments I know:  just most comfortable and absolutly fashion. A simple white shirt and the total look is ready. And another thing is great: the skirt works 24/7 and makes office, leisure or the after-work party swinging with you, babes.  You do not need much for your restyling – simply swap flats or sneakers and shirt for heels and silk top – you’re done for the party. But there are a few things you should keep in mind: the plissé skirt is always in the foreground visually, which is why I am minimalistic with everything else. Best combination items are for me narrow blouses and shirts or now for the colder days, a simple wool sweater. If you like, combine a chain – that‘s enough and the look does not seem tob e overloaded, just stylish.  You can turn your outfit very classy as an allover look with colors from a color family.  If you like, you can emphasize the waist with a belt.  Flat footwear makes the look casual and cool, yet absolutely shopping-ready.  Going out for a party or in a club I‘m still happy to unpack my heels.  Especially trendy for plissé skirt I find cropped pullovers or blouses that cover the waistband only slightly.  This is exactly how the fashionistas are wearing the look.  So it’s really hard to get past a pleated skirt.  Whether in nude or brown shades, bright colors, metallic shades or in trendy leather.  Allowed is what pleases.  By the way, also for curvy women.  On Pinterest or Instagram, you’ll find plenty of styling ideas that love the girlish look as much as I do.
