my first shirts with a message.
Maybe brave, maybe with an essence of provocation, but definitely genuine and honest. The way I am. It’s my belief that you can’t just look great at 20, 30 or 40, but beyond that. And maybe even without a scalpel and syringe. Then why not say it out loud. Make it visible. It’s time for me to just do it. I count myself among the encouragers who say: I am not perfect, but “original”. And something else comes to mind about the billion-dollar business with wrinkles: they are not a disease, but a process that we can naturally slow down.
But now comes the shirts and what they look like.

Quality
If you start small, you can neither visit the plantation, where the cotton is grown and picked, nor influence the processing. As mentioned in the last post, the manufacturer states fair production. So it’s not high-quality premium anything, it’s just a shirt. Everyone has walked through the washing machine a few times and passed the washing test. However, they are not suitable for tumble drying. I tried that too and I can only advise against it.

Since I am always guided by thoughts of doing good, 5 EUR per shirt should be used for a purpose that is worth supporting. Not only because the purpose makes sense, but at the same time it ensures that the donations arrive 100% where they are needed and do not seep away in dark channels. I chose the ANU, the working group for nature and environmental education (non-profit association). The ANU Federal Association supports the realization of nature and environmental education and education for sustainable development in order to improve the way citizens deal with the natural environment. If you like, you can find more information on the association’s website. Another basic aspect ist, that the association is based in Frankfurt am Main and I can therefore speak personally and directly to the people on site without any great distances. Because I want to know where the money arrives and how it is used.
